🎈🌟 Celebrating a Decade Plus One: The 11th Anniversary of the Santa Barbara Business Expo! 🌟🎈

On April 20, 2013, a spark was ignited in the heart of Santa Barbara. The first annual Santa Barbara Business Expo (SBBE) unfolded, marking the beginning of what would become an unforgettable journey of connection, growth, and celebration.

Inspired by Sandy and Gino Goe's keen observation of the significant decline in the vibrancy of local businesses, particularly those along downtown State Street, this event was brought to life. It was the result of a heartfelt collaboration among local business professionals, industry experts, and local media, all driven by a shared passion to reinvigorate the local business scene and connect local small business owners with help they weren't aware of due to being isolated within the walls of their own business.  It was ONE DAY, at ONE PLACE, to CONNECT, LEARN, and NETWORK.  

The event was sponsored by the Women's Christian Community Business Network (SBBN), G&G Construction & Property Maintenance, Tremblay Financial, and Search Engine Pros.  Media sponsors included Edhat, Noozhawk, PacBiz Times, Santa Barbara Independent, Constant Contact, 98.3FM KDAR, Santa Barbara View. Participating organizations included Scheinfield Center of Entrepreneurship & Innovation, SCORE, and Women Economic Ventures (WEV).  Keynote Speakers included Patty DeDominic of DeDominic & Associates and Maui Mastermind; Lorrie Thomas Ross, Olga Mizrahi, Nick Cavarra, Taylor Reaume, Kathy Gruver, Sloane Reali, and Robin Eschler.

This collaborative effort showcased the power of unity and the incredible impact of bringing people together. As we celebrate this milestone, we reflect on the value and benefit of creating memorable events.
